Leicester City coach Claudio Ranieri has revealed that Fiorentina and Napoli are his personal favourites to win the Serie A league title.
The Foxes boss, who is currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table, spent a considerable amount of his coaching career in Italy, and has now admitted that he hopes two of his former teams will be in with a chance of securing the Scudetto.
“Apart from Roma, I hope that either Napoli or Fiorentina can win the Scudetto,” said Ranieri to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Ranieri also praised current Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri, for the improvements he has made since his arrival from Empoli in the summer.
“Napoli were a strong side already, but the arrival of Sarri as a coach has given them something new,” Ranieri concluded.
