Spanish giants Real Madrid have reportedly entered the race to sign Roma’s Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic.

The 25-year-old Pjanic has been one of Roma’s leading lights this season as he’s scored eight times in all competitions, assisting six times. His impressive ability on the ball and ability to find a key pass from the midfield is something that has been very pleasing on the eye indeed.

As per the Marca, Real Madrid have now identified Pjanic as a transfer target of theirs, as the January transfer window approaches. The report also suggests that Los Blancos have been in contact with Pjanic’s agent and Fiorentino Perez is quite keen on signing him.

Clasico rivals Barcelona are also in that race to acquire the signature of the former Lyon man, who joined Roma back in 2011 for a fee in the region of €11 million and has already played under current Barcelona coach Luis Enrique.
