Rugani JuveSerie A pair Genoa and Sampdoria have reportedly joined the race to acquire the signature of Juventus’ young Italian defender Daniele Rugani.

The 21-year-old defender is said to be the future of Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus yet Rugani hasn’t made a single appearance for Juve so far this season but enjoyed a stellar season at Empoli last year, featuring in every single game in the 2015/16 campaign.

Tuttomercatoweb.com report that the defender has been a subject of initial enquiries from both Genoa and Sampdoria, as they look to bolster their defence.

It is likely that Juventus may opt for a temporary loan deal, rather than offload the youngster on a permanent basis.

A product of the Empoli youth academy, Rugani is also said to be on the radar of big clubs such as Arsenal, Napoli and Fiorentina too.
