Juventus defender Alex Sandro believes that his side are growing in confidence as the season draws ever closer towards the Christmas break.

Despite a slow start to the season, the Bianconeri are currently on the back of a five-match unbeaten run in all competitions, culminating in a 1-0 win over Manchester City to seal qualification into the knockout stages of the Champions League.

The 24-year-old Brazilian, who arrived at Turin from Porto during the summer transfer window, insists he also is settling well into the new environment.

“I’m starting to speak in Italian and gaining confidence with the environment and this group of players,” he told Premium Sport.

“We want to continue like this. We are exuding confidence in the dressing room. Now, we gradually becoming more comfortable and confident and I also want to continue to improve as a player. ”

Juventus have a chance of entering the top five at the expense of Sassuolo when they take on Palermo on November 29.
