sarri napoli sassuoloNapoli coach Maurizio Sarri admitted that it will be difficult for his side to play with the right mentality when they face Club Brugge in the Europa League as they are already in the knockout round.

The match will also be played behind closed doors on account of the lack of police in Belgium as the authorities deal with a heightened level of security across the country.

“It will be hard to approach the game mentally because we have already qualified and the stadium will be empty,” Sarri told reporters.

“We want to see where we are mentally and we must be ruthless so that we can keep getting results and playing well.

“If we can do well tomorrow then that will help us to do well in our other games.

“Contrary to what you may think, I care a lot about this match.”

The Napoli boss also stated that the Belgian-born Omar El Kaddouri will start after the Morocco international offered his condolences to the victims of the Paris attacks.

“Omar will play tomorrow and he should have a great game,” Sarri went on.

“We are all sorry for what happened and how it might affect Muslims but I’ll be happier if you start to talk about football again.

“Jose Callejon, El Kaddouri and Lorenzo Insigne will all play in attack.”
