sarri napoli sassuoloNapoli coach Maurizio Sarri defended his opponents Inter ahead of the meeting between the two on Monday evening.

The Partenopei boss also promised not to vary his tacts for the heavyweight clash as he is adamant that his side must always play in the same way.

“I don’t agree with the critics who say that Inter don’t play good football,” Sarri told reporters.

“Every team expresses themselves according to their own style.

“Two different teams will face up to one another, they play very physical and efficient football while we will look to play as we always do.

“I don’t feel any pressure with us being at the top, if we are up here it is because we deserve to be.

“We have already taken on the strongest teams in the league and we got good results against Lazio, Fiorentina, Juventus and AC Milan.

“We will now face Inter with the same calm attitude.”

The Napoli boss was also asked about the on-loan Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah after he featured in the Europa League win over Club Brugge.

“He is always improving and he is a quality player, if he carries on like this he will certainly be a useful player for us over the course of the season.”
