Monday’s 1-1 draw with Fiorentina.

Borja Valero gave Fiorentina the lead, but Sergio Floccari restored parity just before half time to earn the hosts a point and denied La Viola top spot in the Serie A table.

“It was a good game, the result could have been better but we threatened a lot,” Di Francesco told Sky Sport Italia.

“I’m happy with the reaction from my team after conceding, showing great attitude just as they did against Napoli.

“We are always under pressure but less so against the bigger sides, nevertheless we always need a stimulus to play.”

Di Francesco has been linked with replacing Rudi Garcia at Roma, but wasn’t prepared to comment.

“I don’t care what the papers say, but I am pleased to be linked with a great club,” the Neroverdi boss added.

“Garcia has done very well and deserves to be allowed to work in peace, they are doing well in the league.

“We have shown we can cause any team problems, I want this run to continue.”

The Neroverdi join AC Milan on 23 points in sixth place while Fiorentina remain third.
