Stefano Sorrentino – Palermo (Four Team of the Week appearances)

The veteran goalkeeper is enjoying the form of his career this season and his teammates will be extremely grateful for his presence as they held Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico. The 36-year-old made four quality first-half saves to deny the Biancocelesti and was only beaten by an Antonio Candreva spot-kick.

Gaetano Letizia – Carpi

Despite his side falling to defeat, Letizia was a standout performer for the Biancorossi. Carried out his defensive duties as well as offering support in attack for his team, which eventually led to Alessandro Gamberini putting through his own goal to give the minnows a consolation goal.

TOTW 2015:16 GW13Edoardo Goldaniga – Palermo

The debutant put in a spectacular performance for the Rosanero, as he helped Sorrentino to frustrate the Biancocelesti as their poor start to the campaign continued. Capped off a debut to remember with a well-taken goal that put the Sicilians ahead in the first-half.

Jeison Murillo – Inter

The Colombian’s incredible start to his Inter career continued in a dominant performance against Frosinone, as the Biscione ran out 4-0 victors. Much like Goldaniga, he was effective at both ends as he netted a goal for his side.

Cesare Bovo – Torino

An important figure in a compact Toro defence, which comfortable muted any threat Atalanta posed on Sunday. As is the trend in this week’s backline, he got his name on the scoresheet to secure the points for the Granata.

Adem Ljajic – Inter

Ljajic played a part in everything good Inter did on Sunday. Scoring once himself and being involved in two of the other three goals, it seems as thought the ex-Roma man is finding his feet at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Marek Hamsik – Napoli (2 apps)

The captain was vital to Maurizio Sarri’s side as they looked to unlock a stubborn Hellas Verona defence. He provided two sublime passes to carve the Gialloblu open, which led to both goals for the Partenopei.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu – Udinese

The Zebrette ensured Vincenzo Montella would not enjoy a celebratory first game in charge at Sampdoria and Badu was an important figure in the win. The Ghanaian covered every blade of grass on Sunday and capped his performance with a deserved goal.

Jonathan Biabiany – Inter

The former-Parma man was in scintillating form as he destroyed the Canarini in a dominant Nerazzurri showing. The Frenchman opened the scoring for Inter and came close to adding another in the second half.

Nikola Kalinic – Fiorentina (4 apps)

La Viola dropped to third in the standings but things could have been so much worse were it not for Kalinic. 2-0 behind at the break, the Croat came on and changed everything as he scored two second half goals to rescue a point in the Tuscan Derby.

Lorenzo Insigne – Napoli (4 apps)

The Neapolitan continued his phenomenal form this year by contributing a goal and an assist for a determined Partenopei as they climbed to second in the table. He and Gonzalo Higuain have consistently proven their worth this season and will no doubt be vital if they are to put together a Scudetto challenge.
