Torino are reportedly ready to make a bid for Watford forward Alessandro Diamanti this winter.
The 32-year-old, who is currently on a season-long loan at the Premier League side from Guangzhou Evergrande, hasn’t seen much playing time since his arrival in England and it seems like he may be looking to make a return to Italy in the near future, with the Granata apparently preparing to make a move for him in January.
According to Tuttosport, Torino boss Giampiero is interested in adding the Italian to his attack and would open to securing him for the second half of the 2015-16 campaign, though the player’s fate ultimately lies in the hands of the Pozzo family, who own both Watford and Serie A club Udinese.
Diamanti has made just three Premier League appearances this term thus far.
