Inter full-back Danilo D’Ambrosio during the January transfer window.
The 27-year-old has made just two appearances for the Nerrazurri this season, playing a total of 169 minutes under coach Roberto Mancini. D’Ambrosio joined Inter in January 2014 and can play on either side of the back four.
According to FCInter1908, The Hammers have identified the Italian as a transfer target and coach Slaven Bilic is an admirer of the former Torino defender.
West Ham were reportedly in contact with the Nerazzurri during the summer transfer widow but failed to reach a deal to take D’Ambrosio to London before the transfer window shut.
D’Ambrosio has made a total of 36 appearances since joining the club from Torino for a fee in the region of €2 million.
