Juventus striker Simone Zaza has stated that the whole squad are aiming to reach the top three of the Serie A league table by the new year.

The Bianconeri continued their recent good form on Sunday night with a 3-0 victory away to Palermo, in a match where Zaza grabbed his team’s third, but he insisted he won’t let his personal desires get in the way of the team going forward.

“I would rather get even more goals and play a little more, but I have never complained and I will never start to,” Zaza told Mediaset Premium after the game.

“I am enjoying this moment and we will go on like this.”

The 24-year-old then discussed where he gets advice from to help him improve his game, and he praised the more experienced players in the squad for it.

“The veterans of the team helped, we young people listened and the results are there,” added Zaza.

The striker then commented on the team’s ambitions for the season following a poor start which they are beginning to come back from.

“We want to go up in the league,” Zaza went on.

“We have set ourselves the goal of being in the top three by January to end the first half of the season.

“The goal is to keep winning.”
