Hatem Ben Arfa has obtained the interest of AC Milan after impressing in Ligue 1 with Nice.
The 28-year-old French international joined Les Aiglons from Newcastle United in the summer and has since gone on to score seven goals and create two assists in his 17 appearances thus far.
According to reports from Mercato365, the Rossoneri had previously targeted the former Premier League enigma during the last transfer window, although a move never failed to materialise.
Milan had recently sent a scout to observe the player as he performed for the club in the recent 1-1 draw with Reims.
However, the Diavolo will need to ward off the pursuit of city rivals Inter, who are also keen on the versatile winger, forward, and attacking midfielder.
Ben Arfa holds a contract with the fifth placed Ligue 1 outfit that expires at the end of June, 2016.
