AC Milan’s Nigel De Jong has been linked with a January move to Saudi side Al-Ittihad.
The Netherlands international was also reportedly on Leicester City’s radar as the Foxes consider a €2.7 million move for a player searching for increased playing time.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, Al-Ittihad are keen on reuniting De Jong with his former Rossoneri team-mate Sulley Muntari at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
Another unknown side from Saudi Arabia are also thought to be monitoring the former Manchester City midfielder who previously stated his will to stay at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza with the Diavolo.
The 31-year-old only signed a three-year contract over the summer but Milan are reportedly happy to let him go for a fee.
De Jong has made one Coppa Italia appearance and five Serie A starts for the Rossoneri during the 2015-16 campaign.
