CWHbxeNWoAAugVXEdoardo Reja was angry at his players following the two red cards received by Nicola Cherubin and Jasmin Kurtic against Chievo as they lost 1-0 to the Flying Donkeys.

Reja was also disappointed with the defeat as the Dea went into the march from a positive period after a 3-0 win over Palermo.

“I cannot accept two red cards in such a game, even if we were provoked,” Reja told Radio Rai.

“We were coming in from a positive period, we wanted to keep it up but didn’t manage to.

“I did not understand why my players were nervous, it was bad behaviour.

“The result was in our hands, they would have never scored without the numerical advantage, we threw the game away.

“It was all our fault, not the referee’s.”

Speaking about the next game against Napoli, Reja concluded:

“It is a really tough game, they have some really good players. It won’t be easy but we have to try our best.”
