Inter are reportedly set to be challenged in their interest for OGC Nice’s Hatem Ben Arfa with the news that Borussia Dortmund may join the race for his signature.
The 28-year-old’s contract at the Allianz Riviera is set to expire next June, however the Nerazzurri may even go head to head with the Germans during the January transfer window.
L’Equipe have reported that the Dortmund club has shown a keen interest in the Frenchman who has hit top form since his return to Ligue 1 in 2015.
In 16 appearances, the 28-year-old has registered seven goals and two assists, enough to earn his call-up to the French National team.
The new-found interest in Ben Arfa marks a significant comeback in his career.
After a troubled spell with Newcastle United involving numerous long-term injuries and a failed loan spell with Hull City, the attacking midfielder has cut a rejuvenated figure since signing with Nice in January.
