Inter are set to confirm the signing of Boca Juniors forward Jonathan Calleri, with the 22-year-old joining Serie A side Bologna on loan.
Calleri has risen to prominence in his native Argentina with Boca, top scoring with 15 goals in his first full year at La Bombonera since moving from All Boys as well as capturing the Primera Division crown in December.
Olé report that Inter are to pay €12 million for Calleri’s signature, who will officially be unveiled on Monday as player and club finalise the formalities of the deal that will see the forward move to Bologna on loan for the rest of the 2015/16 season.
Despite initially proclaiming that Calleri will not be sold, the size of Inter’s bid was considered too big to turn down and the Nerazzurri have now claimed one of Argentina’s brightest talents, with the Felsinei adding a vital reinforcement to their striking options in the process.
