The agent of Paris Saint-Germain defender Gregory Van der Wiel has reminded Inter that they face competition if they are to sign the Dutch international.

Mino Raiola, no stranger to the gossip columns after recently labelling AC Milan’s goalkeeping starlet Gianluigi Donnarumma as worth €170 million, maintains that the Biscione’s interest in van der Wiel is just one of many options for the right-back who has just months left of his contract in Paris.

“Inter are not the only team interested in signing Van der Wiel in January, there are many teams monitoring him,” Raiola said to CalcioMercato.it.

The 27-year-old can sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club in January as his contract runs out six months later, in June 2016, and it is thought a departure from the Ligue 1 leaders is likely given coach Laurent Blanc’s preference to utilise Serge Aurier in the right-back slot.

Dutchman Van der Wiel has made just nine appearances in 2015/16.
