Serie A giants Lazio are reportedly keeping tabs on Monaco star Stephan El Shaarawy
The 23-year-old -who joined the Ligue 1 side from AC Milan over the summer- has experienced a moderately good start to life in France, scoring three goals and notching up one assist in all competitions.
According to Il Tempo, a return to Italy could be on the cards for El Shaarawy as Stefano Pioli’s Lazio are said to be weighing up a move for the forward.
After not fitting in too well at Stade Louis II, El Shaarawy’s situation is being closely monitored by the Biancocelesti, as they look intent on making the right offer for him.
El Shaarawy would certainly look to impress Antonio Conte in order to ensure he makes the squad for EURO 2016 and it has also been suggested that his possible move to the capital could hinge on Keita Balde Diao’s suggested €15 million move to Monaco.
