ghoulam napoliNapoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam is set to be a hot property in January, with Paris Saint-Germain thought to be preparing a bid for the defender.

The French champions have often plundered the Partenopei for players, recruiting Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi from the Stadio San Paolo in the recent past.

Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli report that a bid in the region of €16 million was tabled to try to prise Ghoulam away from Naples only to be rebuffed by sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli.

It is likely that Les Rouge-et-Bleu will return with a higher offer for the Algerian, who has previous Ligue 1 experience from his time with Saint Etienne.

Ghoulam joined Napoli from Les Verts in January 2014 and quickly established himself in the first team. His next appearance for the Partenopei will be his 50th for the club.
