Conte - Norway v ItalyRoma and Chelsea are fighting it out to bring in Italian national team coach Antonio Conte as their new coach for next season.

It has been far from an easy ride for ex-Juventus tactician Conte since joining the Azzurri in 2014, and his future after Euro 2016 is uncertain as his contract expires and the FIGC are increasingly unlikely to renew the 46-year-old’s deal.

Serie A side Roma are very keen on Conte, and will allow current coach Rudi Garcia to stay until the end of the current campaign to secure the Italian’s signature, according to La Repubblica, but Premier League strugglers Chelsea are also considering the former midfielder.

Should new coach Guus Hiddink depart in May as expected and bet on by many with promo codes, Conte will feature on the Stamford Bridge shortlist alongside Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone.

Furthermore, AC Milan also appear interested in the Azzurri man with the jury out on Sinisa Mihajlovic’s first season at the Stadio San Siro and chief executive Adriano Galliani putting on record his admiration for wanted man Conte.
