Garcia - RomaRoma coach Rudi Garcia is confident about his side’s chances against Real Madrid in the next knockout round of the Champions League.

Having been drawn against the Spanish giants for the round of 16 in the competition, the French tactician called upon the Giallorossi fans to inspire his team to victory in February.

“For me it is a great draw for us,”said Garcia to Roma radio. “To come up against a squad like Real Madrid, who are one of the favourites for the Champions League is a great thing.

“We must try to exploit their weaknesses and advance to the quarter finals. I hope that the Olimpico will be full to the brim on February 17.”

The 51-year-old also praised his team for their hard-working display against Napoli on Sunday, in which they salvaged a point during a 0-0 draw at the Stadio San Paolo.

“We know that we achieved an important result yesterday,” Garcia added.

“To draw without conceding a goal is a great result against Napoli.”
