Roma are reportedly set to trigger the buyout clause of midfielder Salih Ucan.

The Turkey international is currently in the last six months of his two-year loan at the Giallorossi from Fenerbahce, and as part of the initial loan agreement Roma would retain the option of making the deal permanent, a clause which they are apparently about to act upon.

Fenerbahce will receive €11.5 million as they formally hand over the player to Serie A challengers Roma, report Sky Sport Italia.

Ucan has made only seven Serie A appearances for Rudi Garcia’s side during the one-and-a-half seasons he’s been with the club so far, but at the young age of 21 he is considered to be an investment worth making for the future.

He made his international debut for Turkey back in 2013 against Northern Ireland but is yet to make his second appearance for the nation.
