Torino will host Udinese at the Stadio Olimpico of Turin on the final matchday of 2015 on Sunday at 18:00 CET.

The hosts come into the match having had their last one postponed against Sassuolo but got thumped in the Coppa Italia 4-0 by Juventus in mid-week.

The away side also lost by a 4-0 scoreline last weekend at the hands of Inter at the Giuseppe Meazza and got pegged back in their Coppa Italia tie eventually losing 2-1 to Lazio.

Both managers have coached the two teams; Giampiero Ventura managed the Zebrette for 21 games back in the 2000-01 campaign managing to escape relegation in 14h place just a point above relegated Hellas Verona.

Stefano Colantuono coached Torino back in the 2009-10 season almost achieving promotion against Brescia in the play-offs.

There are also a couple of players who have played for both teams including Daniele Padelli, Fabio Quagliarella and Giovanni Pasquale.

Torino won 1-0 in the corresponding fixture last season thanks to a Quagliarella goal.

The Granata have only lost once at home all season amassing 15 points of their 22 at the Stadio Olimpico.

Udinese have surprisingly taken more points away from home this campaign and their travels have seen them win at Juventus, Bologna and Chievo.

Both teams have been hit hard by injury problems that have affected their performances.

Torino have Nikola Maksimovic, Alexander Farnerud, Marco Benussi and Josef Martinez all out, whilst Udinese will have to do without long-term injury losses such as Alexander Merkel, Duvan Zapata and possibly Thomas Heurtaux and Cyril Thereau.

Victory would lift Torino up to seventh, whilst Udinese could climb up to 12th.
