Udinese boss Stefano Colantuono has questioned the legitimacy of Lazio’s first goal in his side’s 2-1 loss in the Coppa Italia Round of 16 tie against the Biancoceleste outfit at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Zebrette took the lead against the run of play in the second half thanks to a spectacular piece of skill from Panagiotis Kone but they could not contain the hosts and eventually succumbed to goals from Alessandro Matri and Danilo Cataldi.

”There was mistake on the first goal as they (Lazio) had to give us the ball back, which we had put out of play,” the Italian told Rai Sport after the game.

“I haven’t had the chance to look at the cameras but I think the winning goal came from an offside position.”

Udinese are 15th in the table and their next game is away against Torino.
