Inter vice president Javier Zanetti believes that the Biscione’s main opponents for the Scudetto this season are Napoli and Juventus.

The Nerazzurri currently sit in first place in the Serie A standings with 36 points, leaving them four points ahead of the Partenopei and six points ahead of the Bianconeri, and the 42-year-old admits that the Milan side must remain focused in order to prevent other teams from catching up during the second half of the 2015/16 campaign.

Zanetti spoke to Premium Sport about Inter’s top form this season and commented on the comeback Juventus have been making after starting off on the wrong foot.

“I believe we’re doing great at the moment, making a lot of progress,” said the Inter legend.

“We must continue with this form. There are a lot of things we must do to make sure that we’re on top until the end of the season.

“Juventus? I’m not surprised by their progress. They started off badly but they’ve always had quality, they don’t do well with failure. Now they’re returning to the levels we all know.

“We will have to fight against all of our opponents, but Napoli and Juventus are the ones we have to worry about the most.”
