Juan Cuadrado JuventusJuventus may face stiff competition from Spanish giants Barcelona in their bid to sign Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado.

Having joined the Bianconeri on a season-long loan in the summer, the club had already expressed their willingness to make the deal permanent and allegedly came close to sealing a deal at the start of January.

However, Don Balon have now reported that the reigning European champions have reignited their previous interest in the player and that his agent has already spoken to the Catalan club about a potential move to La Liga.

The versatile midfielder originally departed Serie A from Fiorentina last January, as he moved to Premier League side Chelsea for a fee of €30 million, although he was soon allowed to leave London after failing to cement a place in the Blues starting XI.

Since switching to Turin in August, the 27-year-old has made a total of 16 appearances in Serie A, scoring two goals and assisting three.
