Juventus have tabled an offer for Serie B top scorer Gianluca Lapadula.

The Pescara forward has netted eleven times this season and has caught the eye of the Old Lady.

According to Sportitalia, Juventus made an approach for the 25-year-old but the Delfini deemed it inadequate.

Pescara, however, are willing to re-open negotiations in June for their talisman as they continue their surge up the Serie B table.

President Daniele Sebastiani confirmed on Friday that the Old Lady had been tracking the forward.

After allowing Marco Verratti to slip through their fingers in 2012, the Bianconeri are keen to snap up Italy’s brightest talents with the club having been linked to the likes of Stefano Sensi and Marcello Trotta in recent months.

Lapdula’s teammate Rolando Mandragora — on loan from Genoa — is close to completing his switch to the champions after impressing for the Delfini this campaign.
