Juventus have reportedly turned down two Crystal Palace transfer bids for midfielder Stefano Sturaro.

The 22-year-old has started eight games in Serie A so far this season, being particularly precious to coach Massimiliano Allegri as a back-up to either Sami Khedira or Claudio Marchisio when the two Bianconeri men have been sidelined through injury.

According to The Mirror, the South London club first made an approach to the Turin giants proposing a €3 million loan with the option to buy, then returned with an offer for a permanent deal worth around €12m. After meeting with the player, the Old Lady decided to reject both offers.

The Mirror added West Ham United are also keeping an eye on Sturaro, without officially stepping forward so far.

Nonetheless, a transfer is unlikely to happen at this stage, with Juventus seemingly determined not to sell the former Genoa star during the January transfer window.
