luiz adrianoChinese side Beijing Gouan have had a formal offer for AC Milan forward Luiz Adriano rejected, although the Brazilian is reportedly still close to the exit door at the Stadio San Siro.

A move to Jiangsu Suning may have fallen through in January, but the Rossoneri are still eager to see a return on the €7 million they paid Shakhtar Donestk for the 28 year-old last summer and a potential departure is still likely.

La Gazzetta dello Sport understands an offer of €11 million has been received from Beijing Gouan, although the Rossoneri are reluctant to accept and are waiting out for an increased transfer fee.

The Imperial Guards, as they are known to their supporters, are currently coached by former Milan boss Alberto Zaccheroni, who is reportedly very keen to add Adriano to his roster.

The transfer market closes in China on February 26th, with a further €4 million needed to close a deal with the Italian giants.

Adriano will be in good company at Beijing Gouan, with fellow countrymen Kleber, Renato Augusto and Ralf in the team.

The former Internacional striker has scored five goals in 21 appearances for Milan spread across all competitions.
