Genoa Cesena PavolettiAC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is reportedly keen on bringing Genoa’s Leonardo Pavoletti to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The 27-year-old has burst onto the scene during the 2015-16 season after previously plying his trade in the lower leagues with 10 goals in 17 Serie A appearances.

According to Tuttosport, Balotelli is poised to return to his parent club Liverpool while Jeremy Menez’s contract with the Rossoneri is running down while Luiz Adriano continues to be linked with a move to the riches of the Chinese Super League.

Milan have therefore turned their attention to Pavoletti as the ideal forward to replace the numerous attacking players linked with moves away from the San Siro.

Lazio and Fiorentina are also reportedly keen on the striker but the Rossoneri are thought to be in pole position on account of the good relationship between Galliani and Genoa president Enrico Preziosi.
