AC Milan defender Alex says his side’s lapses in concentration against the less glamours sides in Serie A needs to stop if the Rossoneri are to qualify for the Champions League next season.
The Diavolo could only manage a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza against Udinese on Sunday afternoon, a result which keeps the Milanese giants in sixth position, six points behind Fiorentina in third and the final Champions League position.
“Of course we have to do our job, we played well today and it’s a shame we didn’t win,” Alex told Sky Sport Italia after the game.
“In many games against the smaller teams we have not done well, we lack a little concentration in these games.
“Next week we have to do better and win the next game.”
The Rossoneri now face Genoa next Sunday in the early kick-off in Serie A at the San Siro.
