Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal could be set for a shock return to Juventus this summer.
The Chile international joined the German powerhouse in July after seeking a new experience abroad but may make a Serie A comeback sooner than expected.
According to Chilean newspaper El Mercurio, Vidal could return to the Bianconeri this summer on an initial loan deal, amidst rumours of unrest between player and club.
German publication SportBild reported that Vidal showed up to training smelling of alcohol, an allegation which has since been denied by the club who are now considering legal action against the magazine.
There have been further allegations that Vidal has been causing conflict in the Bayern dressing room and has not been fully fit.
Much will depend on incoming Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti and his feelings on Vidal moving forward.
The 28-year-old has three goals and four assists in 20 matches across all competitions for the Bundesliga champions.
