Europa LeagueLazio will travel to the Czech Republic to play AC Sparta Praha in the Europa League round of 16, following Friday afternoon’s draw.

Stefano Pioli’s side are Italy’s sole representatives in the competition following the shock elimination of both Fiorentina and Napoli.

With the chance of going up against tough English opposition in Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenhman Hotspur, the Aquile dodged a bullet as the were drawn against Sparta Praha.

A chance to reach the final is now on the cards, with several of the teams tipped to as favourites set to face off against each-other, leaving Lazio in the clear.

Despite this, Sparta will certainly prove no easy feat. The Czech side have trumped several top tier opposition on their way through the competition, most notably when they held Schalke 04 to frustrating draws during the group stages.

The first leg will be played in Prague on March 10, before Lazio host the return match on the 17th.

The full set of fixtures are as follows:

FC Shakhtar Donetsk v RSC Anderlecht, FC Basel v Sevilla FC, Villarreal CF v Bayer Leverkusen, Athletic Club v Valencia CF, Liverpool v Manchester United, Sparta Prague v Lazio, Borussia Dortmund v Tottenham Hostpur, Fenerbahce v SC Braga.
