Inter forward Mauro Icardi has ruled out a move to the Premier League with Manchester United after insisting he is happy with life in Italy.

The 22-year-old Argentine striker has been linked with a number of Europe top club’s in the past including La Liga giants Real Madrid, but is content with life under coach Roberto Mancini at the San Siro.

“I always said I wanted to stay,” Icardi told the Corriere dello Sport.

“My answer will always be the same: I want to stay here.

“If Manchester try again, it will not be the first club or the last that I refuse. I feel good in Milan and I will not leave.

“The club has a major project and is making big investments to get back to winning and I want to help out.”

Icardi has scored ten goals during 20 league appearances for the Nerazzurri so far this season.
