manuel pellegrini manchester cityJuventus are reportedly interested in the possibility of appointing Manchester City coach Manuel Pellegrini should Massimiliano Allegri leave the Bianconeri.

The Turin club have been adamant that Allegri is going nowhere despite speculation linking him with a move to Premier League outfit Chelsea.

According to the Daily Express, Juventus have lined Pellegrini up as part of their contingency plan in case they are unable to persuade Allegri to stay in the knowledge that the Chilean will be available with Pep Guardiola moving to the Etihad Stadium.

Allegri has one year left on his contract in Turin and sporting director Giuseppe Marotta has previously stated that the club are very happy with him and expect him to stay at Juventus.

The Juventus coach still has a lot of work to do with his side competing on three fronts and the club hierarchy are adamant that his mind is not elsewhere going into crucial fixtures.
