Juventus to offer swap deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain star

Edinson Cavani PSGSerie A leaders Juventus are considering a swap with French champions Paris Saint-Germain, offering to Parisians Mario Mandzukic in order to sign Edinson Cavani.

The Bianconeri consider the former Napoli striker the ideal attacking partner for their rising star, Paulo Dybala.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, during the winter transfer window general director Giuseppe Marotta offered €20 million and Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic to get to sign Cavani, but PSG rejected the bid.

Juventus could submit a similar deal during the summer, offering Mandzukic and in the region of €30 million for the Uruguayan striker.

The Bianconeri are also allegedly preparing a monster contract for the 29-year-old forward, up to €7 million per year.

Cavani has played 34 times for PSG during this season, scoring 14 goals and delivering two assists.
