Genoa CFC v Juventus FC - Serie AJuventus host Genoa at the Juventus Stadium on Wednesday night in Serie A, looking to continue their streak and catch Serie A leaders Napoli.

The Bianconeri have now won 12 consecutive Serie A games, up to 15 if we include the Coppa Italia, with the latest being a 4-0 thrashing away at Chievo. The Bianconeri have also not conceded in five games in all competitions, demonstrating an incredible solidity.

Genoa, on the other hand, have not lost in four games after the Derby against Sampdoria, putting together eight points and conceding just one goal. The latest result was a good 0-0 against Fiorentina, following a 4-0 victory over Palermo.

Last season’s fixtures between the two sides saw Genoa win at home 1-0 thanks to a Luca Antonini goal, and Juventus win with the same result at the Juventus Stadium. Earlier this season they met at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, when Juventus won 2-0 thanks to an own goal and a Paul Pogba penalty, giving Massimiliano Allegri the first three points of this season.

Pogba will start again for the Bianconeri, next to Sami Khedira and Hernanes who will be giving some rest to Claudio Marchisio in the regista role. Allegri will probably play Juan Cuadrado on the right flank, with Stephan Lichtsteiner on the bench. Daniele Rugani might start instead of Andrea Barzagli to give the latter some rest. Mario Mandzukic, Kwadwo Asamoah and Mario Lemina are all sidelined through injuries and are unavailable for Allegri.

Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini, on the other hand, has the availability of the whole squad, and should confirm Suso in the number ten position behind new signing Alessio Cerci and star striker Leonardo Pavoletti.
