Pep Guardiola has already identified Inter’s Samir Handanovic as a potential target for Manchester City when he takes over the English club from next season.
Handanovic has been an integral part of Nerazzurri coach Roberto Mancini’s team this season, however a recent dip in form has meant that the Milanese giants might not secure Champions League football to pave the way for the 31-year-old’s departure.
According to FCInternews, the former Barcelona coach is looking to change things around at the Citizens and signing the Slovenian would be the start of it.
A budget in the region of around €25-30 million has already been prepared by City should they proceed to snap up the custodian.
Handanovic, who has made a total of 128 appearances for Inter, is one of the most sought after goalkeepers in European football due to his acrobatic saves and his ability to organise the defence.
