Serie A giants Lazio are reportedly on the brink of parting ways with manager Stefano Pioli.

The Biancocelesti currently lie ninth in the table in a season which has been quite poor by their usual standards. Lazio, who finished fourth in the Serie A last season, have failed to win a game in three of their previous mathes and a string of poor results have jeopardised Pioli’s future even more.

As per TuttoMercatoWeb, Stefano Pioli has edged closer to the sack after what has been an underwhelming campaign, with the club languishing in mid-table.

Pioli is failing to meet the European objectives of the Rome-based club and his dismissal could be imminent.

Sassuolo manager Eusebio di Francesco is being touted as a favorite to replace the 50-year-old, but Lazio president Claudio Lotito is also pondering over a move for Udinese manager Stefano Colantuono.
