Roma have decided against permanently signing on-loan goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny from Arsenal.

The Giallorossi have already signed Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson from Internacional and are believed to be keen on making the Brazilian their first-choice goalkeeper.

As a result, the Daily Mirror report that I Lupi have already informed the Gunners of their unwillingness to sign the Polish international, making him free to return to the Emirates at the end of the season.

Moreover, Szczesny was also unsure about his future when asked by Calciomercato.it. “It’s not my decision whether I stay or not, I could stay but I don’t know. I like playing in this team.”

This season the 25-year-old has made 20 starts in Serie A, as well as starting every game for Roma in the Champions League.
