Armero UdineseUdinese coach Stefano Colantuono has praised his side after earning a deserved point against AC Milan.

An early goal from Pablo Armero was cancelled out by M’Baye Niang to finish level at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

“From the Bologna game next weekend forward I expected positive results, today we got one against one of the in-form teams,” Colantuono told the press.

“We are recovering from our early issues in the season, Milan improved a great deal in the second half but I think a point was deserved.”

Pablo Armero, who played for the Rossoneri for a brief period, was on the scoresheet on his return to the San Siro.

“If you don’t play then you can’t be at your best, however Armero is an important player for us,” Colantuono continued.

“[Antonio] Di Natale is also a key player in the dressing  room, even if he hasn’t played.”
