Sinisa MihajlovicAC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic concedes that his side’s 2-0 loss away to Sassuolo on Sunday afternoon has left him far from happy and has taken aim at the match officials.

The loss sees the Rossoneri slip up in their bid for Champions League football, as they currently remain in sixth place in Serie A.

“I am very angry with ourselves and with the referees,” Mihajlovic told Radio Rai following the final whistle.

“However, the referees refuse to explain themselves and won’t talk.

“We dominated the first half, but as always we struggled to score goals. You simply cannot dominate a game and then be the first to concede.

“After the first goal we lost our grip and I did not see the Milan that I wanted.

“It’s a defeat that hurts a lot, but we can’t forget that we did well at the start. Now we have to recover quickly and prepare for the match against Chievo.”
