Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri was disappointed with how his team played during their 3-0 defeat away at Inter before they made the Coppa Italia final against AC Milan with a 5-3 win on penalties.
The Bianconeri boss felt his team were too passive as they almost let a three-goal lead from the first leg slip.
“I am happy to be in the final, it also wasn’t easy for us because we had a lot of other engagements,” said Allegri to Rai Sport.
“We didn’t play for the first 70 minutes but Inter did very well, putting us under a lot of difficulty although we shouldn’t have given so much to the opponents.
“We could have scored and ended the match before extra-time.
“It would have been a shame to go out but all’s well that ends well.”
