Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are reportedly going to compete to sign Roma starlet Umar Sadiq during the summer transfer window.
The young striker has impressed scouts from both of the clubs with good form showed in the few opportunities he had as a starter in the Giallorossi squad throughout the season.
According to Il Secolo XIX, the Gunners have already made their first move, offering Roma a bid in the region of €15 million for the 19-year-old forward.
However, the German side has allegedly answered with a €16m offer consisting of two instalments.
Roma acquired the Nigerian player from Serie B side Spezia during last summer, paying the Aquile a fee of €5m.
Sadiq has made nine Serie A appearances, scoring five goals and making three assists.
