higuain napoli chievoChelsea are reportedly eyeing Napoli‘s talisman Gonzalo Higuain as they look to sharpen their attack with his proficiency in front of goal.

With the Blues unable to meet Paul Pogba’s demands, they have now turned their attention towards the Partenopei forward with potential new Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte, listing him as a prime target next summer.

According to La Stampa, the West London side are strongly interested in luring the 28-year-old away from Naples with his goal-scoring exploits this season having captured their attention.

Higuain isn’t the only forward Conte has in mind as he looks to also recruit unsettled Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani who has been linked with a move away from France for some time.

Higuain and Cavani will represent the start of the former Juventus‘ boss to overhaul the entire current Chelsea squad which also includes fixing the backline.

‘El Pipita’ has scored a total of 61 goals for the Neapolitans and has played a crucial role in the club’s challenge for the Scudetto this season.
