szczesny romaRoma keeper Wojciech Szczesny praised his club captain Francesco Totti, and added that he hopes to extend his loan with the club.

The Polish keeper joined the Giallorossi on loan from Arsenal, and following a 2-1 victory over Udine, he has helped Roma extended their winning streak to eight games.

“Roma are playing well, and I am really happy to be here,” the goalkeeper told TuttoMercatoWeb.

The on-loan keeper then stated that he hopes to extend his time with the club.

“I would like to stay here, I love the climate of the city. Of course I’m fortunate to play alongside [Francesco] Totti,” he added.

“When I arrived, I was a bit intimidated, I knew Totti was a legend, but I didn’t know that he was such a nice guy.

“Everyone here loves him, from the society to the fans, and I respect him immensely.”
