Balotelli AC Milan AlessandriaAs the Serie A season enters its latter stages, it seems that AC Milan have yet to give up hope on enigmatic striker, Mario Balotelli, as the Italian side have already arranged a meeting with parent club, Liverpool, in a bid to clarify the player’s future.

Having struggled to make a huge on field impact during his season-long loan from the Merseyside outfit, a return to the Premier League was looking increasingly probable.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport have now reported that the Rossoneri could seek to retain Balotelli’s services, as they have been particularly pleased with the striker’s improved attitude off the field.

This latest development now means that the 25-year-old has several fixtures to influence the Milanese club hierarchy, who could decide to sign the player permanently, or simply extend his current loan deal.

So far this season, Balotelli has made just 18 Serie A appearances, scoring just one goal in the process.
