brocchiWith just three points from his first three games in charge, Cristian Brocchi has urged his players to give more.

AC Milan host Frosinone this weekend and are in 6th place, the final Europa League spot, although they are only a point above 7th place Sassuolo.

“I want to see a team ready to fight against the situation we find ourselves in,” Brocchi told reporters at his pre match press conference “In times like these it is important for the players to stick together and work hard for each other.

“An individual on his own can’t be the saviour. Football doesn’t work like that. The solution to the problem has to come from the collective.

“The problem doesn’t come from the formation. It’s all about balance and I don’t intend on changing my system.

“It is my job to put in place a tactic and make sure the players buy into it. Of course every coach needs time, and no one can say that I have it.

“But with such little time left in the season it is the results that matter. That is why against Frosinone the goal is to take all three points.”
