Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel admitted that he is not sure what Jakub Blaszczykowski’s future will be after his Fiorentina loan comes to an end.
The Poland international has made 13 appearances and scored two goals for the Viola during the 2015-16 Serie A season.
“We will calmly examine his case after the season,” said Tuchel to reporters.
“The situation is still in flux and it is difficult to comment on it just based on what happened last year.
“We will meet with Kuba and his representatives after this current season to analyse the situation and decide what to do while also listening to their plans.”
Fiorentina have the right to sign Blaszczykowski outright over the summer for an agreed fee of €6 million as stated in his €1m loan deal although it is uncertain if they wish to take that up with the winger mostly being utilised as a substitute in recent matches.
