The Serbian reportedly received a phone call from vice-president Adriano Galliani to inform him that he was no longer Rossoneri coach and the club later confirmed the managerial change.

“The management of the team now passes to Mr Cristian Brocchi until the end of the season and he receives our messages of good luck in the job.”

The former Milan and Lazio player Brocchi had been in charge of the Diavolo’s Primavera side since June 2014 when he took over from Filippo Inzaghi who was also promoted to the first team.
